I
don’t know Chinese input and therefore have to write you this letter in
English.
First
of all, thanks a lot for C-Fu’s phone call in July and I was so excited that
you did call me and let me explained a bit about my background.
Being
a married middle-class with a 5.5-year-old kid now, life was very satisfactory
when I was holding about $8.2M asset as of Oct,07 (3.2M flat with 5M stock in
which the majority was ESPRIT (34,500 shares)). Though I have 18 years of stock
trading experience, I don’t really care what bull/bear market means because for
the first 9 years I bought HSBC and for the last 9 years I bought ESPRIT and I
earned big money from both of them.
However,
the bear during 2007-09 was terrible!I/My wife sold our flat (and we lived with my parents) in Nov,07 and
invested the money on stock market (e.g. buying 30,000 shares of 857 @ $14.xx),
not knowing that big fall was coming!
To
try and earn back the money, I started active trading on bull/bear/call/put
since mid 2008.Though sometimes good
results, most of the money was gone.During the big “boating” from Nov,08 to Mar,09 (which I learned from you
afterwards), it was a killing mistake for me to buy bull (then market went
down) and bear (then the market went up) actively!After working for 18 years, my asset dropped
to only $3.5M in May,09 ($2.5M in stock and $1M in time deposit).I lost all my confidence and didn’t buy any
big chips, started to feel very confusing.
Since
reading your advertisement on iMoney in mid May, I attended your workshop on
28/5 and started surfing on the 3B website in June, reading your weekly and
daily commentary on the stock markets.Confidence was back and I tried buying again according to C-Fu’s
analysis.Though I cannot earn back all money
overnight, I believe the day will come!
I
start preparing this letter since early August and will remember C-Fu’s advice:
I
hope C-Fu can have a look of my investment history, understand the pain I’m
experiencing, and let me become part of the 3B family.I really need a good mentor and I believe
C-Fu can guide me all the way to 40,000 and earn back the money and confidence
that I have lost!
